The director of the institute, the chief scientist of the department of medieval Georgian history and source studies, Doctor of History Giorgi Tcheishvili is on a scientific mission to Italy. At the invitation of Professor Andrea Manzo, Director of the Center for Asian, African and Mediterranean Studies of the University of Naples "L'Orientale", G. Tcheishvili will give lectures on the history and historical geography of Georgia at L'Orientale University.
